Nichols Adds Team IMPACT Child to Roster

DUDLEY, Mass. The Nichols College men's lacrosse program has announced the addition of six-year old CJ Gibbons to the team's roster.

CJ will join the Bison on the bench for select home games. He has already been to dinner with the team and will also participate in several team building activities throughout the year, as well as attend the team's Halloween scrimmage later this month. CJ comes to Nichols from Team IMPACT, whose mission is to improve the quality of life for children facing life-threatening and chronic illnesses through the power of team.

"I am absolutely thrilled to announce the addition of CJ to our Bison lacrosse family," said Nichols College men's lacrosse head coach Eric Gobiel. "He is a tremendous little boy who is filled with such positivity and passion for life. CJ epitomizes what it means to be a fighter. CJ is going to have such a huge impact on our program and family for many years to come. I would like to welcome CJ and his family to 'The Herd' and let him know that we cannot wait to have him with us on the sidelines and campus in the coming weeks!"

CJ enjoys playing t-ball, helping his mom cook, listening to AC/DC, and watching movies. His favorite color is red, favorite number is 5, his cats are named Buddy and Princess, and his favorite athlete is Tom Brady. He also enjoys watching Paw Patrol and Octonauts.
