OWU Raises Over $7,000 for Cleveland Clinic

The Ohio Wesleyan men's lacrosse team hosted a Bishops Battle Cancer Game at Selby Stadium on Friday, Oct. 7. The event was the culmination of fundraising to benefit the Cleveland Clinic's Breast Cancer Program.

Through a GoFundMe page for supporters off-campus, and t-shirt sales for those in the community, the men's lacrosse team raised $7,158 to donate to the Cleveland Clinic, far exceeding its goal.

For the team's annual Red and Black scrimmage, the Bishops got out the throwback red and black uniforms. The several hundred fans in attendance for the game watched a competitive game with a last-second goal for the victory.

We would like to thank the OWU community and their support for the cause.
