Concordia-St. Paul Signs Four Lacrosse Recruits for 2018-19

ST. PAUL, Minn. Concordia-St. Paul head lacrosse coach Mo Dunnigan has announced the signing of four student-athletes for the 2018-19 academic year. The class consists of four prep standouts from the Twin Cities metro, Hannah Distad (A, Roseville Area HS), Mary Keating (M, Eastview HS), Julia Monson (M/D, Bloomington Kennedy HS) and Molly Moynihan (M/D, Apple Valley HS). The newcomers are members of the Golden Bears' third women's lacrosse recruiting class and will wear navy & gold in 2019.

"The 2018 recruiting class is a small but powerful group of young women," Dunnigan reflected. "Overall, our recruiting efforts have shifted to be more focused and pointed which is demonstrated through these four. We are so glad to have these ladies further expand our foundation and continue our path towards the next level in year three."

The players join a program that enters its second season in 2017-18 after posting a .500 record (8-8) in the inaugural season as the only NCAA Division II women's lacrosse program in the Upper Midwest and only women's lacrosse program at a scholarship level in the state of Minnesota. Concordia lacrosse, members of the Great Lakes (GLIAC) conference entering this season, was the first and currently the only institution sponsoring women's lacrosse from the Northern Sun (NSIC) conference.
