Pollsters' Comments About Teams They Ranked

Maryland: No longer immortal, courtesy of Ohio State. But, head-to-head keeps Terps at #1. (D-Lax) — My Kentucky comment last week presaged a loss in the wrong tournament. Nonetheless, the Terps remain the best team in the nation and finish atop my ballot. (DallasLaxDad) — The Terps are a strong, deep, and resilient team. This squad might have shown some vulnerability, but that's a door that's not likely to be opened again. (draw18) — #1. Terps not perfect but still number one. OSU loss certainly showed the value of Taylor Cummings and, despite her great debut season, freshman Whittle should not have been the Terp taking 11 shots. (johnnyboy) — Got Buck-eyed, but predict the now Ticked-off Turtles tsunami teams to take top ticket at NCAAs. (LadyLaker) — Everybody gets a mulligan. (Lionwatcher) — #1 I still think they are the best team in the country ... just beatable. (LowD09) — #1. The mighty have fallen! This is not a good thing for their foes. Kinda like not using a gun when dealing with Mongo; it will only make them more angry! (Lucky Laxer) — So I said to myself, "For the top slot, who else can you call ... Ghostbusters?" Nah, Terps are #1 despite the slip vs. OSU. (mytwokeepers) — Still my number #1. (novaglax) — #1. If I didn't know better, I would have thought CNR colluded with AV to lose this game. OSU did a huge favor for UMD by beating them. Time for soul searching and redoubling efforts. (Palmtree) — #1. Chink in the testudinal armor, but maybe the right bit of motivation for Terps to go all the way. (slides2) — Despite the Big Ten semifinal stumble, the Terps remain the team to beat heading into the NCAA tourney. (socrlaxdad) — #1. O's lack of efficiency most (really 'all') of the season came to a head and, coupled with D's meltdown, costs the Turtles dearly. (Turtles Lax) — I taped the first semi as I thought that could be an upset ... I watched the second always waiting for the Terps to crack the Buckeyes but was too turtle, too late! (UnderArmourOdor)

North Carolina: Waiting on NCAAs. #2. (D-Lax) — Considering the carnage at the top of last week's poll, perhaps it was best the Tar Heels did not play this week. No. 2. (DallasLaxDad) — The Tar Heels have won a national title, and they have the talent to back it up again. As long as they stay focused each game, this is going to be a tough team to get past. (draw18) — #2. Heels were smart to take the week off ... just ask Duke and Syracuse. (johnnyboy) — Heeling up for the Dance. (Lionwatcher) — #2 Not counting UNC out whatsoever as NCAA title contenders. (LowD09) — #2. No one else fits at this spot. I'd like to put someone, anyone else here, but that would not be right. (Every now and then I have to give one to the good angel, the bad one wins too often.) (Lucky Laxer) — If the Terps have earned the top slot, the Tar Heels are just as secure in having secured the 2nd spot. If the UNC faces MD in the title game, #1 v.#2, I happily predict a great game. (mytwokeepers) — #3. Number three and holding. (Palmtree) — #2. Congrats to Tar Heels for not scheduling tough game on last weekend. (slides2) — Heels earn the NCAA #2 seed and the same spot in my poll. (socrlaxdad) — #6. (Turtles Lax) — The Heels take the break to ask the Music Department to team with the English Creative Writing Department to research chant creation. (UnderArmourOdor)

Syracuse: Momentum stopped by Loyola. #3. (D-Lax) — The ACC championship was nice, but a #3 ranking was too high for a team with 6 losses. Now it's 7 losses, after falling to a Loyola squad that had every excuse to not perform at a high level. No. 9. (DallasLaxDad) — The youth movement in Syracuse is over; this is now a veteran team. Production is coming from all over, starting with a very successful Kailah Kempney in the draw circle. (draw18) — #7. Orange have defeated 7 top 20 teams - but also lost to 7 top 20 teams. So I put them seventh, right? (johnnyboy) — Nice deed to invite the Greyhounds out of Baltimore, but must have left their game behind. (Lionwatcher) — #5 Who are we kidding, Jekyll and Hyde will probably be in the Final Four. (LowD09) — #7. (Lucky Laxer) — In a year of upsets, Syracuse beats UNC and loses to Loyola in their last two games. Da 'Cuse gets #4, and I have a headache. (mytwokeepers) — #2. The few Cuse games I have watched have been full of turnovers. Not sure I like them at number two or three. Loaded with talent, and I hope they get their act together. (Palmtree) — #3. Orange possibly looking past Loyola? Not smart. (slides2) — My #3, NCAAs #4 seed - the ACC champ Orange might have been looking past the 'Hounds toward the NCAA tourney. They'll face the winners of the Penn-Albany match-up. (socrlaxdad) — #9. (Turtles Lax) — Just when I thought the Capo di Tutti Capi had settled all the Orange Familys debts, he is dragged back in by the Hounds ... what was in the Dome the circus!?!? (UnderArmourOdor)

Stony Brook: America East champs. #4. (D-Lax) — At the start of the season, who'd a thunk the Seawolves would earn a bye and be hosting next weekend? Stony Brook earned it on the field, all season long. No. 3. (DallasLaxDad) — Stony Brook took on challengers this year and lived up to what they wanted to do in the regular season. They are young, they are hungry, and they are talented. (draw18) — #4. Seawolves benefit from Duke and Syracuse losses and puts them in my top 4. Not sure they'll get a 1st round bye but they should - went 5-1 against top 20 teams. (johnnyboy) — Completed the regular season dance card as expected. Now how deep can they go? (Lionwatcher) — #6. (LowD09) — #3. SB leaps over the remaining ACC teams, not necessarily because of what they've done (win), but because the others all lost. (Lucky Laxer) — At #5, Stony Brook has a gaudy 18-1 record with some quality wins. Only LGL could complain about my giving them the #5 slot. (mytwokeepers) — #7. I'm hoping now that they are ranked so high someone will schedule them next year. (Palmtree) — #5. Shove past Albany again and look to make noise in NCAAs. (slides2) — Seawolves earn the NCAA #6 seed but even better - my #4 slot in TOPTM! (socrlaxdad) — #5. (Turtles Lax) — LGL tells me Im wrong if I dont comment on their backer zone crushing UMBC and beating the Great Danes again ... onto the NCAAs! (UnderArmourOdor)

Penn State: Big Ten champs. #7. (D-Lax) — The committee missed the mark by a long shot with Penn State. The BIG champs should be hosting next weekend in Happy Valley. No. 4. (DallasLaxDad) — Big Ten champs because of depth and consistency, the Nittany Lions have hit their stride and are playing really good lacrosse. This is an exciting team to watch. (draw18) — #6. Nittanies playing good ball and take inaugural B10 Tourney crown. (johnnyboy) — The first B1G champ. Could got some long odds on that. (Lionwatcher) — #4 Dangerous and confident senior-led team heading into the NCAA Tournament. (LowD09) — #5. Shea U got screwed royally with their seeding, but were, also, gifted by ending up in Hooville. (Lucky Laxer) — The Nittany Lions jump to my #3 slot. I think they are peaking at just the right time. Unfortunately, the NCAA draw has not been kind to them. (mytwokeepers) — #5. Lions look very strong right now. (Palmtree) — #7. Unforeseen B1G champs. Congrats, Nittanies! (slides2) — Big Ten Champs deserved a top 8 seed and an NCAA home game. I would have never bet that the inaugural championship final would include neither the Terps or 'Cats ... but the Lions prevail. (socrlaxdad) — #2. (Turtles Lax) — Lions have mauled the Stormtroopers twice in 12 days, which is now being story-boarded at the Skywalker Ranch. (UnderArmourOdor)

Boston College: The Eagles are primed to go far in the tournament. No. 7. (DallasLaxDad) — The Eagles are enjoying a phenomenal season, and they still have a way to go. The rise of Kenzie Kent, combined with the veteran talent, can push BC far into May. (draw18) — #3. Eagles avoid pre-tourney upset and benefit from misfortune of others. Season body of work puts them 5-3 against top 20 teams. (johnnyboy) — Easily took the battle of Bean Town. (Lionwatcher) — #7 Not in the loop with M. Rix status, but concerned about what this team can do in NCAA Tourney without her. (LowD09) — #4. BC jumps on the others' losses. Should have been seeded higher. (Lucky Laxer) — BC moves up to #6, just because I said so. (mytwokeepers) — #4. Eagles have figured out how to replace an irreplaceable player. (Palmtree) — #4. Green Line rivalry goes to Chestnut Hill. (slides2) — 15-3 Eagles get the NCAA #5 seed. They'll host and open against the winner of Loyola-Bryant. (socrlaxdad) — #8. (Turtles Lax) — Eagles save a post ACC game and unlike the Orange and Dukies know how to finish clubbing crosstown rivals BU! (UnderArmourOdor)

Duke: Drop to #6 after upset by Blue Jays. (D-Lax) — Three losses in the last four games is not a good way to enter the tournament. Duke drops to no. 11. (DallasLaxDad) — The depth of Duke is impressive, and they can simply play a good brand of ball. The Blue Devils can and will go deep into May with strength all over the field. (draw18) — #5. Devils went 7-4 against top 20 teams and would have been my third choice after Syracuse lost. But can't ignore Sunday's loss to JHU. I'm tellin you ... they cursed themselves. (johnnyboy) — Obviously got to the game late. (Lionwatcher) — #3 Going back to my early predictions. This team is tested and strong ... ready for a deep run in NCAAs. (LowD09) — #6. DOOK (misspelling for illustrative differentiation only, not meant disparagingly whatsoever) gets a bye, but has some tough competition to make it out of Koskinen. Go DUKES! (Lucky Laxer) — Duke gets my #8 slot, and I could easily argue that is too low. (mytwokeepers) — #6. Sad to say, but I think Duke has imploded - I had high hopes they would really make a run this year but not feeling it now. (Palmtree) — #6. Yet another top four team loses on final weekend. Devils slip a couple of notches. (slides2) — My #5, NCAAs #3 seed - the Dookies lost 3 of their last 4. They'll face the JMU-USC winner in Durham. (socrlaxdad) — #14. (Turtles Lax) — Saves a game for after the ACCs but tune-up becomes a wake-up as the Hop burns the flat as a pancake Devils leaving them in a first half hole they cant get back from. (UnderArmourOdor)

Northwestern: Exit early at Big Ten tourney. #8. (D-Lax) — Northwestern hasn't played like a top 10 team, much less like someone who should be hosting a tournament pod. No. 12. (DallasLaxDad) — The 'Cats might be having a "down" year, but most other teams would take this as a down year. Never, ever, count out the 'Cats. (draw18) — #8. Northwestern and UVa each went 6-6 against top 20 teams. So I'll give the Cats top billing from their win over Hoos waaaay back in February. (johnnyboy) — Will we see a resurgence. (Lionwatcher) — #8 Wildcats love May. (LowD09) — #9. (Lucky Laxer) — Coin flip between UVa and the Empire. UVa gets #10, NU gets #11. (mytwokeepers) — #10. Maybe a new era for NU - talent pool way down. (Palmtree) — #10. Still can't solve Penn State. (slides2) — 'Cats were handed the #8 seed and hosting duties for the NCAA opening rounds. Can't help but think that's based more on previous seasons than 2015. (socrlaxdad) — #15. (Turtles Lax) — Unlike Gators, who air-boated the Huskies for revenge, the Empire Strikes Back swings and misses in New Jersey as We Are beats the Stormtroopers in black. (UnderArmourOdor)

Loyola: Follow up Patriot League title with upset of the Orange. #14. (D-Lax) — Another miss by the committee. How do you ignore a 14-game winning streak and a win over the ACC champs? No. 5. (DallasLaxDad) — The Greyhounds are continuing their run, and this is a team that has been able not only to come together well, but come together with strength. Loyola has strength up and down the field. (draw18) — #12. Hounds versus top 20 were not so great this season ... until they took down the Orange in NY. Gotta be a great confidence booster going into the NCAA tournament. (johnnyboy) — I have believed so long in this Hound team and finally my faith has come to fruition! (LadyLaker) — Proved to the Orange that the Hounds are not in the ACC. (Lionwatcher) — #10 Big-time senior class is stepping up at the right time. Also interested to see if this group can go as deep as their 4-year aspirations. (LowD09) — #10. (Lucky Laxer) — Loyola is my #7 team. They have 14 straight wins after four losses in their first four games, and they playing very well, beating Syracuse in the season final. (mytwokeepers) — #14. Great win in the fresh air of Syracuse, NY. (Palmtree) — #8. Hounds deserve a tournament seed. (slides2) — After knocking off the ACC champs, the 'Hounds own a 14-game win streak heading into the NCAAs. That makes them the unofficial "hottest team" in the brackets. (socrlaxdad) — #7. (Turtles Lax) — Hounds pull upset of the weekend escaping Charm City and bringing unrest to Syracuse, pepper spraying the Orange ... what too soon! (UnderArmourOdor)

Princeton: Ivy champs. #11. (D-Lax) — The Ivy champs jump up to no. 6. (DallasLaxDad) — The Tigers returned to the top of the Ivy League with consistency, depth, and just good lacrosse. They are not ready for this run to be over, and their talent will help them keep going. (draw18) — #11. Giving Tigers props for 4-2 record vs. top 20 teams and 2015 Ivy sweep. (johnnyboy) — Cleaned up the Ivy. (Lionwatcher) — #11 Winning Ivy in 2015 was NOT an easy task. Credit where it's due. (LowD09) — #13. (Lucky Laxer) — Top of the Ivy, #15. (mytwokeepers) — #11. How good is the Ivy League, that is the question. (Palmtree) — #12. Chris Sailer's crew has their act together. (slides2) — Ivy League champs will open NCAA play against Metro Atlantic champs Fairfield. (socrlaxdad) — #3. (Turtles Lax) — Topcats in the Ivy as the new Cat Suit Manager steals the show when the costume got too hot in the second half! (UnderArmourOdor)

Virginia: Right behind the Irish, at no. 15. (DallasLaxDad) — The Cavaliers can win the big games, but the key is, as always, their consistency. A senior-laden team such as this should be a able to harness that experience. (draw18) — #9. Northwestern and UVa each went 6-6 against top 20 teams. So I'll give the Cats top billing from their win over Hoos waaaay back in February. (johnnyboy) — Laxing and relaxing. (Lionwatcher) — #13 Congratulations! You're the Most Inconsistent Team of 2015. Good news: that means there's still a chance for big NCAA showing. (LowD09) — #15. (Lucky Laxer) — Coin flip between UVa and the Empire. UVa gets #10, NU gets #11. (mytwokeepers) — #8. Hoo will show up? (Palmtree) — #16. Await tourney. (slides2) — The 'Hoos lost twice to Notre Dame. #7 seed? I just don't see it. (socrlaxdad) — #12. (Turtles Lax) — Hoos up for playing anywhere on the road as long as it isnt in South Bend! (UnderArmourOdor)

Stanford: MPSF champs. #10. (D-Lax) — Ten straight wins, but all against MPSF competition. No way to really know if that's prepared the Cardinal for the rigors of the NCAA tournament. No. 8 out of respect for the conference championship. (DallasLaxDad) — Stanford won the West behind a host of veterans and talented players. Another trip will not phase them, and this veteran class is prepared to keep moving forward. (draw18) — #10. Cardinal team didn't play many top 20 teams, but when they did they chose Dos Equis, I mean, they went 2-1 and ran the MPSF regular and post seasons. (johnnyboy) — Took care of business and gets rewarded with Florida and North Carolina. Ouch. (Lionwatcher) — #17. (LowD09) — #8. (Lucky Laxer) — Best of the West ... #13. (mytwokeepers) — #9. Lots of tests right now for these girls, including the academic ones. (Palmtree) — #14. Best in the West and about to make annual trek somewhere East. (slides2) — MPSF champs get the AQ and NCAA bid. They'll put a 10-game win streak on the line against the Gators. (socrlaxdad) — #4. (Turtles Lax) — TreeIndianCards dont hate CO and USC like they do Cal, putting only 16 on them to Deft Roast all those on the Left Coast. (UnderArmourOdor)

Florida: Big East champs. #12. (D-Lax) — Rebounding against UConn gets the Gators back in my good graces and back on my ballot at no. 13. (DallasLaxDad) — The Gators have a host of talent, and they have shown that given a second opportunity, they will make the most of it. Shannon Gilroy is too talented to be discounted. (draw18) — #15. Gators have all kinds of potential but haven't seen much of it ... 1-4 against top 20 teams. Maybe Gators are waiting for their victims to float by in the NCAA tourney before chomping chomp. (johnnyboy) — Reminded the Huskies who is the Big Dog. (Lionwatcher) — #12 Redeemed themselves against the Huskies. Unsure about how NCAA-Tourney-ready they are. (LowD09) — #12. (Lucky Laxer) — Reversing their earlier loss to UConn, Florida is #17. (mytwokeepers) — #13. After getting smacked in the head by the Huskies, the Gators take no prisoners in Big East tourney and beat opponents by double digits. (Palmtree) — #9. Gut feeling Gators will do well in tourney. (slides2) — Big East champ Gators got revenge for their earlier loss to UConn and will open the NCAA tourney against MPSF champ Stanford. (socrlaxdad) — #18. (Turtles Lax) — Gators PR says it best; (in 2nd half) "a 12-0 run that last nearly 20 minutes and put the game out of reach and gave the Gators revenge." (UnderArmourOdor)

Notre Dame: The toughest team to slot this year. Eight losses, but the Irish have shown twice this year that they're better than UVa, so I've got to have them above the Hoos. No. 14. (DallasLaxDad) — The Irish have the talent to play with everyone; when they play consistently together, it's a tough out. Their games are a situation of who shows up, as the teams are very different. (draw18) — #16. I get indigestion putting the Irish in my top 20 with 10-8 record and losses of 3-17, 6-15, and 4-18 (coulda been the corned beef and cabbage). But can't ignore four wins over top 20 teams. (johnnyboy) — Nice to be driving distance to the Lake. (Lionwatcher) — #16. (LowD09) — Notre Dame gets the #9 slot directly ahead of UVa, whom they beat twice. (mytwokeepers) — #12. This team is so inconsistent. (Palmtree) — #15. Await tourney. (slides2) — The Irish lost 8 times this season ... but they beat Syracuse, Ohio State, and UVa (twice). NCAA Selection Committee thought that was good enough. They'll get Ohio State once more. (socrlaxdad) — Irish want to forget last game. Are willing to pay their own way to Hooville, where they are 2-0 against the home team. (UnderArmourOdor)

James Madison: The Colonial champs have a real chance of making it to the Elite Eight. No. 18. (DallasLaxDad) — The Dukes showed from the beginning of the year that they were going to have an impact on the national scene, and they did not disappoint. This is a solid team that can take on all comers. (draw18) — #14. Dukes add Colonial tourney qualifier to their wins over PSU and Loyola. Don't expect JMU in final 4, but I wouldn't want to be matched up with them in NCAA tourney. (johnnyboy) — Finished up a nice regular season and gets a first time Dance partner. (Lionwatcher) — #19. (LowD09) — #18. (Lucky Laxer) — Looking solid, #16. (mytwokeepers) — #16. I'd love to see the CAA back in the mix like the old days. (Palmtree) — #17. When all is said and done, CAA champs, pretty much as usual. (slides2) — CAA champs will face USC to open NCAA play. (socrlaxdad) — #13. (Turtles Lax) — Dukes win the CAA unseating the three-time title holding Tigers. (UnderArmourOdor)

Johns Hopkins: Upset Duke to ice the regular season. #17. (D-Lax) — And now the Blue Jays beat Duke. Good enough for no. 10 in my book. (DallasLaxDad) — The Blue Jays navigated their year of independence well, and have a berth in the tournament to show for it. The Hop has been tested, and they are ready for a run into May. (draw18) — #13. Blue Jays played the independent schedule masterfully. JHU won all the games they were expected to as well as 2 of 5 against top 20 topped by their pre-tourney, timely win over Duke. (johnnyboy) — Got to the game about 30 minutes before the Blue Devils did. Good move. (Lionwatcher) — #24. (LowD09) — #14. (Lucky Laxer) — The Hop gets #14. (mytwokeepers) — #18. Nice win for Jays. (Palmtree) — #13. Independent Jays are this year's forgotten team and maybe shouldn't be. (slides2) — I said last week if the Jays beat the Dookies "they should earn an NCAA berth." They did and they did. (socrlaxdad) — #16. (Turtles Lax) — Last week I said the Hop maces the Scarlet Knights. That was for the old bludgeoning middle-ages club not going with maces Duke this week for obvious reasons! (UnderArmourOdor)

Ohio State: Someone had to do it. Upset the Terps. (D-Lax) — Beating Maryland deserves more than an honorable mention, and Tori DeScenza gives the Buckeyes a chance to win any game. No. 17. (DallasLaxDad) — The Buckeyes have shown how dangerous they can be. When Tori DeScenza is on, she can have a significant impact on the game, especially when the offense is putting in goals at the other end. (draw18) — #20. Wrote off the Buckeyes previously, but when you pull off the upset of the year, that's worth something ... like my last top 20 spot. (johnnyboy) — Beat the greatest lacrosse team ever for the B1G title and are rewarded with the up and down Domers at the Lake. (Lionwatcher) — #9 Buckeyes got their annual mega-upset to get them into the NCAA Tournament. Seniors are fired up, but can they finish strong? (LowD09) — #17. (Lucky Laxer) — I refuse to ignore the upset of the Terps. OSU gets #19. (mytwokeepers) — #15. Upset of the year. Happy for all the senior Buckeyes to have this memory. (Palmtree) — #11. What to do with Buckeyes, who looked so flat just last weekend? (slides2) — Buckeyes pulled the upset of the Big Ten tourney and join Syracuse and Louisville as 7-loss teams in the NCAA tourney. (socrlaxdad) — #19. (Turtles Lax) — You can say THE Ohio State University after taking down the undefeated #1! (UnderArmourOdor)

Penn: Lose Ivy title game to Princeton. #15. (D-Lax) — Bumped off my ballot by USC. (DallasLaxDad) — Penn has done well yet again, with production on both sides of the field. With talent leading the way on both offense and defense, the Quakers can still play deep into May. (draw18) — #19. Not sure the Quakers belong in the NCAA, but if history counts for anything, Ivy league typically gets two in. I do think Penn is a top 20 team though. (johnnyboy) — Second best. (Lionwatcher) — #14. (LowD09) — #16. (Lucky Laxer) — Second in the Ivy, #20 here. (mytwokeepers) — #21. Good run for the Quakers - Albany looks like a good game for each. (Palmtree) — #18. Good team, but cannot get past Princeton yet again. (slides2) — Ivy #2 will face Albany in the NCAA first round. (socrlaxdad) — #11. (Turtles Lax) — Fightin' Quakers have no answer for the Cat Suit Manager! (UnderArmourOdor)

Albany: Two of the Great Danes' 4 losses were by close margins to Stony Brook. The other two were close losses to Syracuse and NC. No. 16. (DallasLaxDad) — Albany has done well on both sides of the ball, and their ability to command long stretches of the game has helped them return to the post season. (draw18) — #17. With only a win over UMass to top their tourney resume, I can't see Albany in NCAA tourney, but I think they are among the best of the rest. (johnnyboy) — Trouble with the Catamounts but survived and advanced and Dance. (Lionwatcher) — #18. (LowD09) — #11. (Lucky Laxer) — I like Albany. #12. (mytwokeepers) — #20. Is there still snow on the ground up there? (Palmtree) — #20. NCAA berth? I would vote for them. (slides2) — Great Danes couldn't get past Stony Brook this season. They'll open NCAA play against Penn. (socrlaxdad) — #17. (Turtles Lax) — Has to go to OT to beat Vermont and cant get past the Seawolves, so cling to the final spot in the Top 20. (UnderArmourOdor)

Louisville: The brutal ACC schedule prepared the Cardinals well, and now it's one game at a time. With Kaylin Morrisette leading the charge for the Ville, this team can do some damage. (draw18) — #23. Cardinals got a lousy welcome to the ACC, but they made sure every opponent gave their best effort. (johnnyboy) — Welcome to the Midwest. (Lionwatcher) — #15. (LowD09) — #21. (Lucky Laxer) — #17. The first round gives the Cards a chance to avenge their earlier loss to Cats. (Palmtree) — #19. Cards should get in. (slides2) — Losing 5 of their last 7, I did not expect to see the Cardinals in the NCAA bracket. Boy, was I surprised. (socrlaxdad) — Is hoping that other teams sputtering to the seasons finish line helps their chances. (UnderArmourOdor)

Massachusetts: The A10 champs are making winning a habit. No. 19. (DallasLaxDad) — #18. Thank God for the AQ, but UMass will likely be "rewarded" with a tough NCAA first-rounder. (johnnyboy) — #19. (Lucky Laxer) — Lots of wins ... #18. (mytwokeepers) — #19. Excited to see the clash of the Atlantic conferences. (Palmtree) — #21. Ready to prove something. (slides2) — At 18-1 the Atlantic 10 champ Minutewomen will face JU to open their NCAA account. Winner gets the #1 seed Terps. (socrlaxdad) — #10. (Turtles Lax) — After loss to Albany, A10 schedule doesnt look to get them back in unless others falter! (UnderArmourOdor)

Southern California: Put up game, but no cigar at MPSF tourney. Earn NCAA tourney spot. #20. (D-Lax) — My final spot came down to two teams who took NU to OT and lost. Southern Cal, you earned your spot in the tournament! (DallasLaxDad) — #21. Trojans made a good program advancement this season, and people took notice. Not quite enough for top 20 or NCAA tournament but bodes well for 2016 and beyond IMO. (johnnyboy) — Couldn't draw up an MPSF win but dance nonetheless. (Lionwatcher) — #21. (LowD09) — #20. (Lucky Laxer) — #23. Not quite there, but plenty to cheer about in third year of existence. (slides2) — The Trojans lost to every ranked team they played ... not sure an NCAA bid was a just reward. (socrlaxdad) — #20. (Turtles Lax) — Make statement as Second Best in the West! (UnderArmourOdor)

Cornell: #22. Reds just couldn't get over the hump this year but a good season nonetheless. (johnnyboy) — #22. (LowD09) — #23. (Palmtree) — #25. Tough opponent, but not enough in end. (slides2) — Big Red cant get in after double Quakers one-goal losses! (UnderArmourOdor)

Hofstra: #24. Decent season for the Pride ... too bad they had a late season fade. (johnnyboy) — #24. Poor ending for Pride. (slides2) — In my mind the Pride were the "first team out" of the NCAA bracket. CAA semifinals OT loss kept them home for the remainder of the post season. (socrlaxdad) — No chance for Pride after falling to Towson! (UnderArmourOdor)

Denver:

Connecticut: Fall to Florida in Big East title game. #22. (D-Lax) — #20. (LowD09) — #22. Great season. (Palmtree) — #22. Second best in Big East. (slides2) — Huskies made a statement against Gators, but they get death-rolled in rematch! (UnderArmourOdor)

Other Teams Pollsters Considered (and comments, if any)

. Harvard: #23. (LowD09) — #24. (Palmtree)

. Jacksonville: #25. Another NCAA spot to add to their accomplishments, need a little more sumpthin sumthin to take it to the next level. (johnnyboy) — At 17-2 the Atlantic Sun champ Dolphins will face UMass to open their NCAA account. Winner gets the #1 seed Terps. (socrlaxdad)

. Navy: #25. (Palmtree) — The Mids missed the Ball. (socrlaxdad)
